4th of July in Alpine

So we were just going to stay here for 4th of July weekend because Kody had to work, but on Thursday morning his boss called and said he can have Thursday Friday and Saturday off. So Kody said lets pack up and go spend some time in Alpine with his family (they live up there). So I rushed around and packed for 2 babies and me and we left at around 1:30pm. Im going to post our trip based on days because we had a jam packed fun time so I have tons of pictures to post. So here is day one Thursday July 2… Right when we got there Taizlee headed outside to play. Well Grandpa Mark just put in a fire pit and Taiz thought it was a swimming pool for Girl dog and so Grandpa Mark let her feel it up and she and Tuf had a little swim party in freezing mountain water, they are the silliest water loving kids and did not mind the cold at all. Then that evening we loaded up and went to look for elks. Taizlee loves to look for elks, deers, and bears. Well we spotted some right off the road and there were horses and baby horse there to, Taiz could not be more excited. The only thing that would have made it better would be if she could ride the elk. She kept asking, “Dad ride elk please”. That night at Kash Kash showed up and we had yummy food played some chess and went to bed time.

On Friday we had a very busy day. We played outside and Ju Ju and Grandpa Mark pushed Taiz and Tuf around in the wheelbarrow. Kody, Taiz, Tuf and me took a hike. Taizlee loves to hike and on the hike she searched for a lion the whole time because she and Grandpa Mark had just watched the Wizard of Oz and she just loved the lion. Later that night Uncle Bo Bo and Aunt Jo Jo came over and we had a cook-out. Taiz was so super pumped to see Bo Bo; she just loves her Bo Bo. She talks about him at least twice a day. That night we did our own mini fire work show. Taiz could not get enough of the fire works she hearts them. Then that night we put on a play because what else is there to do in Alpine at night when you got so much family around. Well the play pictures and info deserve there own post so they will be coming later.

Saterday July 4th we all woke up got ready and headed out to watch the Alpine Parade. For some reason the Alpine parade was way way better then Safford. It was more for the kids, more personal, every float threw out candy SCORE and Uncle Bo Bo was in it! Next we went and snapped some family shots which did not turn out as planed with 2 tiered babies. Then lunch, naptime, and then headed home to make it in time for the fire works

This picture is for you Aunt Jo Jo Thought you might like to see your man in the parade!!!

Thanks for the picture of my husband! He was looking good! Ha! Too bad I am too attached to the Eagar parade to not watch it and venture into the Alpine parade. Maybe some year...
